The SUWA Initiative is De-Nexus Center’s flagship program designed to empower youth, women, and vulnerable groups with market-driven skills, entrepreneurial support, and access to opportunities for wealth creation and socio-economic independence. It focuses on transforming livelihoods, strengthening food systems, and bridging the gap between innovation, employment, and sustainable development.
Flagship Projects under the SUWA Initiative
A youth entrepreneurship accelerator providing mentorship, incubation, access to angel investors, and funding support for innovative start-ups.
Technical and Vocational Education & Training programs tailored to equip young people and women with practical, demand-driven skills for employment and self-sufficiency.
An innovative project strengthening smallholder farmers with modern agribusiness practices, value-chain development, and access to markets to enhance food security.
Rural Women Empowerment Programs, Youth in Agritech, SME Support Schemes, and Digital Economy Skill-Building.

De-Nexus Global Leadership Series (DGLS)
De-Nexus Global Leadership Series (DGLS) is an innovative platform designed to train, connect, and empower leaders across Africa and beyond. Through high-level capacity building, bilateral exchanges, and cross-cultural collaborations, the series equips leaders (Public and private sectors) with the knowledge, skills, and networks to drive sustainable development and global impact.
Key features include:
- Leadership training and executive education programs.
- Bilateral and multilateral exchange programs for policymakers, entrepreneurs, and changemakers.
- Dialogues and knowledge-sharing sessions with global thought leaders.
- Capacity-building workshops and mentorship opportunities.
By bridging borders and fostering collaboration, DGLS nurtures a new generation of leaders capable of shaping Africa’s trajectory within the global economy.
De-Nexus Summit
This Summit is conceived as a high-level, action-oriented platform to critically examine Africa’s current development realities, interrogate policy and practice gaps, and co-create practical solutions for building the Africa we all want. It is purposefully designed to drive commitments, showcase innovations, and produce implementable roadmaps that align directly with Africa’s long-term aspirations, including the African Union’s Agenda 2063, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and national development plans.
This landmark convergence brings together government leaders, private sector executives, development partners, academics, innovators, civil society actors, women, and youth, creating a unique space for intergenerational dialogue, shared learning, and collaborative problem-solving
